Royal Academy of Engineering

A video series exploring the complexity of climate policy

The Challenge

  • Reaching net zero by 2050 means radical systemic change, requiring input from local communities, government, industry and academia.

  • Policy makers often work in siloes.

  • The Royal Academy of Engineering’s National Engineering Policy Centre wanted a video series that would help policy makers understand

How we helped

  • We created five videos exploring a systems approach from the point of view of different sectors, such as Energy and Transport.

  • The videos provided a deep-dive into the topic, with insights from some of the UK’s top engineers, economists and other academics.

  • The series also told the stories of initatives from communities around the world who are building climate resilience.
